Ten drug dealers been sentenced by the Court of Appeal of Debrecen. They got a total of 57 years imprisonment.
The 21-member circle of perpetrators obtained various kind of drugs in Budapestfrom the second half of 2005
and then sold them in Debrecen and its vicinity.
Due to the police investigation several kilograms of various drugs were seized, mostly marijuana, but someperpetrators alsopossessedcocaine, LSD and Speed as well. The process could prove that the defendants traded on drugs, and also that they committed their crimes in conspiracy. They not only dealt
with drugs we also found extortion and assault in their list.
In the case of nine men and one woman -out of the 21 accused- decided the Court of Appeal of Debrecen. The defendants received a total of 57 years imprisonment. The first and second accused have to serve 8 and 9 years in prison.
