Hungary’s largest airline company launches new low-cost flights to Milan and Eindhoven this weekend. The Eindhoven flight departed at 11.25 Saturday, while the one to Milan at 10.35 Sunday.
Together with the flight to London, from Debrecen Airport passengers can fly to 3 destinations at a reasonable price. It is expected that in the following year a hundred thousand customers would be traveling by these flights. Also, the traffic growth in the region will support the creation of new jobs in the field of tourism and it will boost business travels as well.

“Debrecen is now more easily available for the international students and researchers of the University of Debrecen”- emphasized Lajos Kósa, Mayor of Debrecen.
With the launching of these flights the airport of Debrecen reached a new milestone in its history; its passenger traffic was thirty thousand last year, more than fifty thousand this year and is expected to be more than a hundred thousand next year.
