The Hungarian government has set up a humanitarian council tasked with coordinating the aid operation of government agencies and charities to help refugees from Ukraine.
The body is headed by Gergely Gulyás, the prime minister’s chief of staff, and comprises representatives of public and higher education, the social sector and health care among other branches of government.
